PTI were engaged in 2024 to audit CVC’s northern hemisphere rugby portfolio from a data and technology perspective.

The primary drivers of the project were to:

• Understand exactly who was operating which systems, with which partners and to what end
• Understand the total spend on data and technology
• Identify potential cost savings and areas for collaboration
• Identify new revenue streams

PTI audited the technology estates of 11 separate organisations and identified 5 main areas for aggregating operating technologies and almost 10% of savings across the sport as well as a number of ideas for improving revenue generation via a more collaborative approach to data acquisition and utilisation.
