Jon has worked with PTI on various client projects already, including at Norwich City, Nottingham Forest and Edgbaston.
Jonathan Walmsley commented, “I have had a strong working relationship with PTI since inception and I jumped at the chance to come across and join them full time. I believe that PTI’s holistic and strategic approach to technology is unique within our industry and provides the contextual framework for businesses in our sector to move forward with confidence, to avoid the inertia which comes when they are not sure of the right approach and to build efficiently with customer-focussed outcomes in mind.”
Mike Bohndiek, Chief Executive Officer at PTI says “I have known Jonathan since our time working together on West Ham’s move to the Olympic Stadium and am really pleased to be able to bring him into our team so that we – and our clients – can benefit from his rich experience in this space. We are growing apace and so his coming on board couldn’t be better timed.”
PTI’s clients include Premiership Rugby, The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Wasps Rugby & the CBS Arena, both London Stadium and the London Legacy Development Corporation, Edgbaston, Bristol Sport & Ashton Gate and the NEC Group.
PTI is a specialist digital transformation consultancy and its digital transformation pyramid – which unifies its three core pillars of Venue Technology, Data & Digital and Commercial Strategy – lays the foundation for the holistic digital transformation of sports and entertainment organisations and venues. It is this integrated, efficient approach which begins with strategic intent and is informed by insight and powered by the right technology infrastructure which creates significant commercial advantage over the long-term.
