PTI Launch Managed Services Division to Support Expanding Technology Business

PTI Digital have expanded their technology service provision in response to client demand by launching a new managed technology service offering.

The Venue Tech pillar of the PTI business had previously focussed on CTOaaS consultancy, taking clients from audit > strategy > roadmap. The launch of the managed service function enables PTI to expand upon this in covering execution and ongoing support.

With unique sports and entertainment experience underpinning technology designs, an agnostic approach and a managed service that has been designed specifically for the industry, PTI can now offer a ‘single throat to choke’ approach.

The importance of the core infrastructure in sports and entertainment venues has never been greater, with the post-Covid world demanding greater digital enablement. Be it in digital ticketing or click & collect food and beverage, the fan’s device is now their window to experience – but this can only be the case if the underlying technology stack can enable this.

Through PTI’s pyramid approach, existing clients such as Edgbaston Stadium and Norwich City are already benefitting from the commercial returns from investments into infrastructural technology and connectivity, alongside efficient event day operations of technology.

Mike Bohndiek, Chief Executive Officer at PTI says “At PTI we are committed to continually innovating and providing our clients with a high-quality service. Throughout the pandemic our clients wanted to extend our remit from trusted consultants into executers, prompted by the rapid turn arounds that lockdowns, new requirements and pilots demanded. Other providers simply couldn’t keep up in a specialist industry, whereas PTI’s known ability to create impact at speed delivered for clients.

With SLAs built specifically for the industry and a team of experienced individuals powering the helpdesk, we are now providing our clients with greater accountability and simplicity in the management of their technology. Through doing this, we are unlocking digital engagement, data capture opportunities and ultimately commercial outcomes – building the base of the pyramid to enable business outcomes to be achieved.”

PTI’s digital transformation pyramid – which unifies its three core pillars of Venue Technology, Data & Digital and Commercial Strategy – lays the foundation for the holistic digital transformation of sports and entertainment organisations and venues. It is this integrated, efficient approach which begins with strategic intent and is informed by insight and powered by the right technology infrastructure which creates significant commercial advantage over the long-term.
